Understated is an independent family-run coffee shop with simple good food and drink and a warm welcome, right in the centre of Hinckley, Leicestershire.
You’re welcome to join us for a quick cup of tea or a quality coffee – or stay for lunch or breakfast and relax for an hour or two.
We’ve also got a beautiful light space upstairs, available to rent for businesses, networking groups or workshops – drop in or call us to find out more

A thoughtfully curated range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate – many available as vegan options – plus a good range of soft drinks, juices and smoothies.
Our menu is brief but it’s just as well because you’ll want to try it all! Cakes, pastries and light lunches, prepared by us or freshly delivered by tried and tested suppliers.
Our bright, airy first floor space is available for hotdesking or for co-hosting workshops, with the best coffee around – let us know what you need.
